CASE 01 · NUCLEAR POWER

Nuclear Reactor CRDM Support

GRT participated in the development and manufacturing of CRDM supporting components for nuclear reactors. We independently developed integrally compression-molded >230℃-class silicone coil bobbins with fully independent intellectual property, successfully applied in more than 10 nuclear power units; the new-generation 440℃-class supporting assembly has completed development and entered volume supply.

New-Generation 440℃-Class Assembly

The temperature index of the new-generation coil bobbin rises substantially from >230℃ to 440℃, with a 60-year service requirement. We have completed development of CRDM components including 250℃ ceramic coil bobbins, ceramic sealing compounds, ceramic casting materials, 4-meter rod-position coil bobbins, silicone impregnating varnishes, and 440℃-class impregnating varnishes and casting compounds — with 250℃-class products already in supply.

CASE 02 · SPECIAL MOTORS · INSULATION

Insulation Localization for Large Generators & Frontier Equipment Potting

Since 2001, working with Shanghai Generator Works on localizing imported epoxy adhesives and potting compounds for 300MW, 600MW and 1000MW generator units — in volume production for many years. Also with Harbin Electric Machinery on localizing imported varnishes and adhesives for nuclear and hydro power, likewise in volume production.

GRT is a qualified supplier to Shanghai Generator Works, Harbin Electric Machinery and Dongfang Electric Machinery. Our resin adhesives are applied in thermal power, hydro power, nuclear power, high-speed motors, linear motors, rail transit and high-speed rail.
